Recently Louis Vuitton opened the largest boutique outside of Paris in Canton Road, Hong Kong.
To celebrate the opening they created a number of special pieces for the store including bags, watches and shoes. But I have to say out of all the pieces these have to be my favourite.
Three Mahjong Dragon tiles Charms. Translating as Red, Green and White they are said to represent luck and fortune. The yellow gold is truely versatile as flip it over and the back is engraved with the ever classic monogram.
Limited to only 88 pieces each you can purchase individually or as a set. They are also available in Silver.

Los Angeles got the MOCA Neverful, New York has the Monogramoflage, Hawaii got the Sophie, Japan well they get everything now it's London's turn.
To celebrate Richard Prince's first major UK exhibition at the Serpentine Galley, London, Louis Vuitton are releasing a Limited Edition Jamais Watercolour.
These bags looked fabulous on the runway and although the leather version released was beautiful it didn't have the same pizzaz.
The LE Jamias will be sold ONLY in Sloan Street, each piece is numbered and signed, there are only 50!
The bag will be sold for the duration of the Prince exhibition which runs from June 26th to September 7th and retails at £9000 ( a portion of which will go to the Serpentine Galley)

So you may have seen the latest fashion phone to hit the market already, if not here is the scoop on the Dior Phone.
The Dior phone shows the Carnage design and will be available in two versions; one with DIAMONDS in black the other with crystals available in white, black, grey, pink and red.
Prices start at approximately £2,500.
This is the interesting bit the Dior phone comes with a smaller "My Dior" accessory. This allows you to turn the phone on and off and make calls WITHOUT having to rummage desperately through your handbag and still come out empty handed.
The phone is available online and in Dior Boutiques from June 2008

Louis Vuitton is to open two new stores in India, one in New Delhi the other in Bangalore. The story goes that Vuitton are also looking at more India-inspired designs, now that could be interesting. I can almost picture it, beautiful intricate deisgns in fabulous rich colours, I am crossing my fingers and toes already. LV's managers attend meetings all over the world, the latest European staff meeting was held in....you guessed it India.....coincidence? check the article for more info on the new store openings

Last week Louis Vuitton made a very interesting move in marketing and public relations. Vuitton's CEO of North America, Daniel Lalonde and the Senior Vice President of Marketing and communications, Heather Vandenberghe sat down to breakfast with 12 Bloggers eager to pick their brains on how LV can use the online world to better reach it's customers. It's a really sensible move, blogs or even forum's (it's the next step mark my words) give the user the ability to give feedback it's the best focus group a company could ask for. I do hope they know when to draw the line though some of the most slammed products go on to be hugely popular lines. Amongst the lucky bloggers at breakfast were Bag Snob, Fashion Indie, Fab Sugar, Fashion Tribes, Haute Concept! I'm looking forward to seeing what comes of the meeting. Oh and if LV would like to pick my brain please feel free to give me a call.

This is one designer collaboration I never expected to see. Hello Kitty & Dior!! Featured in all it's glory in the June issue of Japanese Vogue is Hello Kitty modelling the entire Dior F/W 08-09 collection. The spread shows each little Hello Kitty decked out in her full Dior outifts designed by John Galliano, I admit it's cute something I'm sure the HK fans will be rushing out to snap up, the Dior fans.........I doubt it.

Then allow me to recommend My French Coach (or My Spanish Coach if you prefer).
I have tried the Wii version which I quickly returned for the Nintendo DS version, in my opinion it is far superior.
They really are great games. Your lessons are broken down into to bitesize pieces but you must master those words before you can move on. To test your knowledge there are a number of games like wordsearches, mulitiple choice, flashcards etc. The further you progress the more you unlock with 8 games in total.
The built in DS speaker/microphone allows you to listen to the french (or Spanish) speaker, record yourself saying it and then play it back either alone or overlaying the original phrase.
If that's not enough the game also includes a phrasebook, dictionary and sketch pad.
Watch out Paris now there really is no stopping me!
I was checking out the Louis Vuitton 1999/2000 Autumn Winter show and OMG! Ok I'm going to be needing a time travel machine. The clothes are amazing, beautiful simple tailoring with lots of scarves, coats and wraps perfect to snuggle up in on a cold winters day. But the bags......oh boy the bags! Vernis oversized steamers, giant backpacks, Messenger/Garment carrier styles and if you look carefully you may spy a mini Alma The bag colour palette is very similar to those we have in the 2008 Vernis Collection I would love to see a re-issue of some of these fabulous pieces...who's with me?
Sorry for the picture quality if you'd like to view the show you can check it out here

Rumour has it Louis Vuitton has signed Francis Ford Coppola & his daughter Sophia as the new faces in the Core Values campaign.
WWD is reporting that they recently shot the Ad in Argentina with Annie Leibovitz.
I really love the Core values campaign they have a really intimate feel to them my personal favourite was the Steffi Graf and Andre Agassi picture followed closely by the classic glamour of the Catherine Deneuve image...I for one can not wait to see the new one

I love these candles in fact I have an almost Diva-esque addiction to them only I don't care if they are white or not.
They smell so good I'm almost (I said almost) tempted to eat them! I can not even pass a Yankee Candles display without having to smell each and everyone.
My current favourite is Midnight Jasmine, it reminds me of warm summer nights in Sicily. ah the memories

So why "I'll Take Both"? It's easy and you most likely guessed it already I love to shop and my favourite shopping motto - when in doubt, buy both! It never failed me before so it seemed like the perfect name.
