Launching in September, Tokyo will see a joint venture between Louis Vuitton & Commes Des Garcons.
The temporary 3 months store will feature 6 bags based around the LV monogram. Kawakubo of Commes des Garcons described her designs as "party" bags, promising multi-handles or two handles morphing into one with the bags giving a nod to the styles of 30 years when Vuitton made only bags and leather goods.
Yves Carcelle, chairman and chief executive of Louis Vuitton, said that he was approached by Commes and considers the project a fine way to celebrate 30 years since Vuitton first opened in Tokyo.
No images of the collaboration as yet but I'll keep you posted.
Images of the bags have now appeared and honest opinion they are pretty uninspiring, the one with the biggest change is the Mini HL Speedy with it's extra (pointless) handles. The bags will only be available in the store and no telephone or internet orders will be taken. No great loss for me, Sorry.
Over 2008 Prada has been working hard at seducing me away from Vuitton.
So far I haven't strayed (I said so far I think I'll be breaking that soon) and just when I thought the Fairy onslaught was over here comes Fall.
I checked out the Prada Fall runway show and all though many pieces looked nice I wasn't sure the thick lace and ruffles were for me that was until I saw this!
Priced at £1,115 this bag is HOT! It looks to be printed lace rather than an actual lace overlay. I am really interested in seeing what other beauties they release.
Be warned Vuitton, Prada are hot on your heels

Then from the pictures of the Richard Prince Gala evening to celebrate his Serpentine exhibition I spotted A watercolour Goodie!!!!!!
What is it?
Well I don't know!
Pictured here in Jolie Richardson's hand is something small and dark watercoloured. My guess is a card holder. Vuitton tend to do a little card holder as a invitation/keepsake of openings and special events.
I still hope LV will have a change of heart and bring in few small leather goods.
As for the shows I've seen so far, well they are a little same old, same old. However these did catch my eye.
Gucci Floral Shoes Spring Summer 2009, they were featured in black and white, but I think I prefer the white if you're going to do colour you may as well go all out.
It's about time that guys got something different and these certainly fit that category.
You can view all the shows at http://www.vogue.com/
What do you think love them or hate them?
Sometimes at the back of magazines you find some really interesting things amongst the Ad's for Fortune Tellers.
One day this caught my eye.
The Beauty Pillow!
That is a picture of what could be happening to your skin when lying on a regular pillow.
If smiling, frowning etc all cause wrinkles imagine what compressing your skin against your pillow is doing for 8 hours 365 days a year! Those lines you wake up with imagine if they stuck around!
I do not look forward to aging if I can slow it down, I will. I recently found out that from the age of 25 you lose 1% of your collagen EVERY year. So far I think I'm doing a pretty good job fighting time but if I can get a little assistance it can't hurt.
The beauty pillow is designed to move around with you to reduce friction and stress on the skin. It also helps prevent moisture loss from the skin, after all whats the difference between a grape and a raisin? Water or more accurately loss of water!
Not only does the beauty pillow help prevent wrinkles but it helps protect the hair too!
You can get the Beauty Pillow on line for £29.85
The Fall show gave us rich sumptuous exotic leathers the one constant is length. Elbow or Opera length gloves are a must.
Featured in the July Issue of UK Vogue is this fabulous pair of jeweled Opera length Louis Vuitton gloves.
Made from Kid and patent leather (I can't see any patent leather on them but it's Vogue I'll take their word for it) and embroidered with crystals, they are certainly eye catching.
They also aren't for the faint hearted the price tag currently stands at £3,090
