The Inclusion colours are limited in run so grab then ASAP to avoid disappointment.

Here is the first image from the Prada Womens Spring Summer '09 Ads.

I was not a great fan of the Prada show, it seemed a little bland after the beauty that was the Fairy, but this ad is rather pretty.

Shot by Steven Meisel, who also shot the Louis Vuitton Madonna Ad's, the pale colours palette, neutral make up and simple french twists have a very classic lady like appeal without being rigid. The bags don't really appeal but I love the simplicity of the clothes and the fact that you clearly don't need to iron them (big plus for me I hate ironing). Image credit: Fashion Times
The Chanel Mobile Art dome that was planned to travel the world showcasing a range of modern art based around the Chanel 2.55 bag, has been cancelled.
A spokesperson for Chanel said "We will be concentrating on strategic growth investments."
The 700 piece dome takes over 50 shipping containers to transport it around the world, the spokesperson declined to comment on the cost of the dome.
Mobile Art has already visited Hong Kong, Tokyo and New York, the visits to London, Moscow and Paris will no longer go ahead.
It is as yet unknown what will happen to the Dome.
You can see what was inside the Dome here at NYMag, based on that video I don't think it's any great loss.
Did anyone visit Mobile Art? What were your impressions of it?

One of Paris' major department stores Printemps Haussmann was evacuated and cordoned off after a number of explosives were found inside yesterday. A group named the Afghan Revolutionary Front, claimed the bombs by sending a letter to the french news agency AFP stating "Send the message to your president that he must withdraw his troops from our country before the end of February 2009 or else we will take action in your capitalist department stores". The "bombs" which are said to be old style sticks of dynamite placed in the restrooms on various floors were found by sniffer dogs but were not connected to a detonator. A shopper said the evacuation was calm and orderly. Read the full story here Thank goodness the authorities were able to neutralise this danger without event, Printemps has an average of 100,000 visitors a day and possibly more during the busy holiday season, the store reopened later in the day. This is my favourite quote from AFP.com "Shopper Marie-Christine Soulard said she was told that a suspect package had been found in the store after she brought in a Giorgio Armani dress for alterations and that she had to leave immediately. "There was no panic. It all took place calmly. But I don't know when I will be able to get my dress back," she said."

Yes this an Authentic Louis Vuitton Christmas tree. The golden tree is made up from little LV's
The tree was apart of a designer Christmas tree auction held in Paris. This year 44 trees were involved in event, "Les Sapins de Noël des Créateurs", which takes place every year. Other trees came from Stella McCartney, Chanel and Gucci to name but a few.
Despite being a Chrsitmas Tree auction no actual trees were involved in their making.
The proceeds of the auction, €101,000, go to the Sol En Si charity, an organization that helps children and families living with AIDS.
And just for fun here is the Gucci Tree
Barbie turns 50 next year and apart from looking fabulous for her age she gets her own custom made Christian Louboutin's AND 50 designer outfits! As part of New York fashion week in February, 50 designers (full list yet to be confirmed) will come together to produce life sized (and Barbie sized) outfits for a special Barbie runway show. The special Barbie Pantone 219 Pink shoes will also make their debut at the show. "Barbie needs to wear great shoes because every girl needs to wear great shoes," Louboutin tells WWD. "I guess I always had a little 'girlie side' who liked Barbie." This isn't Barbie's first dip into the Designer world she has previously worked with Dior, Versace, Oscar De La Renta, Givenchy, Vera Wang, Burberry, Escada and Armani
Here are more images of the up-coming highly anticipated Louis Vuitton Graffiti & Roses collections. The images are stills from a video posted on style.com where Marc Jacobs discusses the welovesprouse.com website due to launch tomorrow. Graffiti Launch date 9th Jan
Neon Speedies Pink, Green, Orange
Vernis Roses Alma
Graffiti Keepall Green and Zippy in Pink. You may have noticed already but the font is larger on the keepall than it is on the speedies (and neverfull), I prefer the larger font as it allows the monogram to peak through, I adore the zippy I don't think I'll sleep until I get my hands on one.

In an industry where image is everything signs of retail fatigue are beginning to show. The biggest news came today when Louis Vuitton ditched plans to open it's Flagship store in Ginza, Tokyo. The Flagship which was announced in May was expected to be a 10 storey luxury extravaganza. The change of plans has be credited to both parties being unable to reach at satisfactory agreement. Other changes include Dolce & Gabbana's announcement that as of next year they will be cutting the number of collections to just show and cruise. The cynic in me expects this is down to the economy but as luxury companies can not show signs of weakness Gabbana blamed the change on the merging of the seasons saying, "I don't want cherries or strawberries at Christmas anymore. I want to eat, dress and live on time. I think we all need to sit back and ponder over this anxiety we all have of constantly needing to anticipate," Also recently in efforts to boost revenue, fashion houses in Paris & Milan have resorted to private sales for loyal customers. Sale's are not unusual in France or Italy by the sale season regulated by the government who dictate when they start and how long they run. Private sales allow the companies to maximise their sale time frame outside of the government guidelines but sales are by invitation only and are not advertised and once again in the name of image are rarely discussed.

While I'm talking sunglasses have you seen the new Obsessions and Gina's?
The Tortoiseshell acetate frames have mini Vuitton monogram inside the frame.
You must check them out in real life as the picture, although pretty good does not really capture how beautiful they are.
These have been out a little while now I tried the Gina's on back in November, grab them now you still need sunglasses to prevent winter glare plus they'll fly off the shelves when the weather warms up.
Of course some of you are lucky enough to live in hot climates all year round so you really have no excuse go get them now!
Gina £270
Obssession Carré £245
Gimme! Gimme!! Gimme!!!
These sunglasses are beyond HOT.
The aviator style glasses has photo chromatic lenses with the Damier print on them.
Basically, as the light get brighter the lenses get darker and you'll see the Damier more.
Now you may be wondering is that not annoying looking through them?
I can answer that:- No, I have the Conspiration Pilote lenses that have the monogram print and you can not see the monogram at all when wearing them.
They are great lenses, actually since I got my first pair of Vuitton sunglasses I've never looked back.
I can honestly say that in my opinion no other fashion house even comes close on quality (and I do have a sunglasses from quite a few of them)
Anyway back to the Socoa, they are a part of the Mens Spring Summer Collection 09 but don't let that put you off they look great on women too.
Retail price is £270
Rihanna in the Conspiration Pilote silver
Just look at this fabulous little doll!
This was a part of a designer doll exhibition in the Petit Palais, Paris in aid of Unicef, unfortunately the exhibit has now finished but I just came across this picture of the Louis Vuitton Doll.
Of course you'll all know that is an outfit from Fall Winter 2008 but check out that adorable mini whisper pm.
Vuitton do make a number of minis as bag charms and that one would be a great addition to the mini collection. I even like it more than the actual bag lol.

It's not just consumers feeling the pinch of the financial crisis, the fashion industry is too. With shows notoriously expensive to produce a number of designers have cancelled theirs. Current victims of the credit crunch include Donna Karan and Vera Wang, Valentino has pulled out of men's fashion week and now Cacharel as announced it will not be showing in Paris fashion week in February. I wonder if we'll see more casualties? Of course one idea to help the fashion houses cope with the high costs of shows would be to sell tickets, just tell me where to Que and I'm there quicker than you can say Paris Fashion Week, who's with me?

Is it your dream to shop with Kate Moss? How about meeting Tamara Mellon and picking some Jimmy Choo's? Or how about meeting the fabulous Roland Mouret? Well dig deep because now is your chance! The Evening Standard has launched a number of Charity auctions in aid of childrens Charity project Greenhouse and those a just a few of the prizes available. The Kate Moss shopping trip is already up to £10,000, but it's no ordinary shopping trip. You will be flown to New York for the opening of the Topshop Flagship store where Kate and Sir Philip Green will help you shop! The auction I would kill for would be the backstage passes to the Versace show in Milan where you will meet Donatella Versace and pick out your own Versace dress oh but it doesn't stop there you get prime seats for the show plus flights and hotel included. The show tickets are what sells it for me I dream of one day sitting in those seats! I'd even love the nose bleed section behind the pillar I just want to be there. To save you valuable bidding time here is the link remember it's all for a good cause too! Evening Standard Charity Auctions

The new Chanel Metiers d'Arts collection showed on Wednesday evening, based on a different venue each time this collection was Paris-Moscou.
The show opened with a silent movie on Coco Chanel and everything from clothing to accessories were rich and luxurious.
Picture deep imperial reds, furs and tweeds and everything heavily adorned with pearls and gems.
The classic Chanel Flap was recreated in a beautiful white fur.
Very ornate jewellery featured everywhere from the extravagant hair pieces, brooches and bangles to these bracelets worn on the hand.
Championing the return of the muff they featured on a number of occasion's like this Gem encrusted CC version. Other versions played on Russian Dolls and Chanel logo's made from Kremlin style buildings. The Kremlin based design also featured on clothing and inspired shoes.
This coat is my favourite piece from the show, the crystal decor and the fur just make it the perfect winter/snow queen piece. Stunning. Images from Vogue.com were you can see the remaining show images. Collection will be available mid 2009
Phew it's all go in the LV world lately.
Having just being revealed in Tokyo the Sofia Coppola bags will be available from March.
The SC bag (the duffel/keepall styled one) will be available in Calf leather (Dark Blue & Burgundy), dark grey suede (heart attack waiting to happen) and of course the classic monogram
There will also be peep toe shoes in Gold and Silver and a clutch style evening bag with a clasp inspired by the Vuitton Trunks.

WWD revealed the Louis Vuitton Madonna Spring Summer 09 ad's recently I've got to say I'm not thrilled.
There is just too much going on in the images, from the feather skirt, beaded shoes to the toggled bags and the chunky bracelets. Throw into that the patterned tilled floor, the leg in the air and fishnet tights what do you want me to look at? It's image overload.
The worse thing for me is the fishnets, apparently Madonna's idea, I didn't like them on the outfit she wore for the Gucci event I don't like them now.
These are only two of a series of images that will feature heavily in the Mag come Feb/March. The Kalahari bags will launch in 2009 exact date to be confirmed.

On Thursday thieves burst into the Harry Winston Avenue Montaigne store in Paris and left with 80 Million Euros worth of jewels.
In the bold theft thought to be one of France's biggest ever jewellery thefts, it is said that at least two of the three thieves were dressed in drag and were well acquainted with the store knowing the secret hiding places and some of the names of the staff.
Stories report that they left with almost everything in the store the original estimate for the goods stolen was 50 Million Euros but has now been elevated to 80 million.
Harry Winston really has some beautiful pieces and it breaks my heart to think of what will happen to them now.
Big heists such as this are becoming more common in fact this store was robbed only 14 months ago to the value of 10 million euros.
Time for a security overhaul?

If the Graffiti is not quite your thing then be sure to check out the Sprouse Roses Collection. Finally news is starting to spread about the Vuitton/Sprouse Graffiti collection and images are beginning to appear. The first pictures came courtesy of WWD reporting on a story to appear in US Harper's Bazaar and now that piece is available on line too. As previously mentioned in this post (Louis Vuitton Sprouse Graffiti 2009) the launch of the Graffiti 09 coincides with the retrospective showcasing Sprouse's work, to pay homage to the artist who died in 2004. Also in conjunction to the exhibit will be a book and the website http://www.welovesprouse.com/ (don't go clicking yet it's doesn't go live until the 15th). With this set to be the most anticipated collection of the season, hell probably the year, I guess it's time to get on with the pictures..... (there are also expected to be some small leather goods and hard cases in the collection but no pictures have surfaced just yet) Graffiti Bag Charm Graffiti Bag Charm estimated price $250, I LOVE this! If I get nothing else then I at least must have this

Graffiti Bracelets

Graffiti Bracelets one reading "Louis" the other "Vuitton" price quoted as $1200 each.

A great concept and very cute looking bracelets but I can't help think that price point is a little high (if correct)

Graffiti Pareo

Graffiti Pareo estimated $380.

I am really hoping for a scarf like the Sprouse Leo Scarves rather than the traditional square shape

Graffiti Heels Pink

Graffiti Heels.

These beauties have gone on my wish list the only hard part is choosing the colour. One shoe reads "Louis" the other "Vuitton"

Graffiti Hi-Tops

Graffiti Hi-Tops, the least I say about these the better I think

Graffiti Keepall Orange

Graffiti Keepall in Orange! and in Pink (below)

Graffiti Keepall Pink

For the last 2-3 seasons there has been a very competitive streak in the design of shoes. Who can make them bigger, brighter, quirkier than the rest. It's been great to see the designers getting creative, for 2009 I think the Dior Goddess Shoes have to go right to the top of the charts. When I first saw them I didn't really like them but the more I look at the them the more they appeal to me, although I prefer the suede version pictured below. Modelled on the fertility goddess they are certainly different, the sculptured heel definitely makes a statement they have a slight modern art feel to them but they also fit a very classical aesthetic too. Before you make you're decision on them give it a day of two come back again and check them out, I've got to say I kind of like them
