Christian Louboutin has designed a special set of 3 gift boxes for Laduree. The fabulous boxes contain the delicious Macroons that Laduree are famous for this time flavoured with a Meditterean twist. The Macroons and gift boxes will be available from September 11th and retail at £9.80 for 6. Sounds like a trip to Paris may be needed.
Jean shopping is the bane of my life it is the one type of shopping I hate and put off as long as possible but then I found the Nordstrom Fit Fundamentals videos. There is light at the end of the tunnel after all! Nordstrom have put together short instructional video's guiding you in picking the right elements to get the perfect pair of jeans and not only that but also have loaded their website with details and information specific to the jeans you are looking at. Unfortunately they don't ship to the UK but at least now the next time I need to Jean's shop I can go armed. Here is the first video the all important Find your Size.

I wanted to take a moment out to pass on a few book recommendations for anyone who maybe interested. Let's start with Deluxe: How Luxury Lost it's lusture by Dana Thomas. I think this is a must read for anyone interested in luxury goods, it's bursting with interesting facts, stats and stories. Also there are so many covers available on this book you could almost colour co-ordinate. The Towering World of Jimmy Choo by Lauren Goldstein Crowe and Sagra Mceira de Rosen Elizabeth Day is all about luxury shoe brand rose from being a single man working in an abandoned building to one of the major shoes brands of today, it's a lot of business but if you are interested more in the inner workings of a brand than the glossy ad campaigns it is well worth the read. Elegance by Genevieve Antoine Dariaux, written in 1964 Madam Dariaux explains from A-Z the very essence of elegance, it's not about blindly following fashion trends it is about finding and bringing out your inner chic. It's a great book. I think that's enough to get you started but I have a few more I'll let you know about at a later date. Happy Reading

I came across this today whilst randomly surfing, I love jewellery but I love it even more when it's a little unusual. The Limelight Paradise collection fits that to a T, the collection of cocktail ring are actually cocktails! There are three rings in the collection, Sex on the Beach is a Pink Tourmaline (14.70ct approx) drink with a peridot (2.2ct) lime garnish. Capirinha is another Tourmaline (approx 18.5ct) this time green with a citrine (2.2ct) orange garnish. Finally, Blue Hawaiian is a great big blue topaz (37.5ct approx) garnished with a white chalcedony palm tree topped with a yellow sapphire and completed with a diamond adorned straw. The 1001 Nuits bracelet is in my opinion the best piece of costume jewellery that Louis Vuitton have produced, and the latest addition to the family is no exception. The newest color is a beautiful soft, dusky pink collection. Each combination changes the feel of the collection from the vibrant sunset colors of the orange to the dark and seductive amarante. Prices: Bracelet - £430 Ring - £210 Hair clip - £210 Necklace - £335
As the Fall Winter release dates approach, I thought it would be nice to take another look at one of the first Louis Vuitton collections to be released. Eclipse and Monogram My Deer! are both due to launch in August (typically the 1st or the 15th). Monogram My Deer! is a small collection of deer skin bags with the embossed monogram pattern and lots of hardware. The Rebelle is a shoulder bag available in both black and red, the estimated retail currently stands $3230*. Enigme is the stunning clutch dressed up with five padlocks, the Enigme is only available in red and the retail is estimated at $2470* I only wish they had released the Enigme in the beautiful cream leather they showed on the runway. *retail prices are always subject to change right up until release date. Hermès is probably most famous for it's Birkin or Kelly bags but the House started in production of Horse harnesses and saddlery, a tradition it maintains today. Hermès was so renowned for it's work that it was unknown for royal coronations to be held up whilst waiting for Hermès fittings to arrive.
Even to this day the flagship store at 24 Rue du Foubourg in Paris contains a small section dedicated to it's saddlery. In 2007 a one off saddled was commissioned and showcased in the newly opened Selfridges wonder room before travelling around the world to be shown in various store windows. Pics: Vogue

The Macassar collection is a permanent new addition to the Vuitton range and features a range of luggage pieces and city bags. Shown above are the permanent pieces, the Keepall is actually available in two sizes, 45 (850 Euros) and 55 (885 Euros) Neo Greenwich (1800 Euros) Davis Tote (915 Euros) Bass MM Messenger (680 Euros) Bass PM Messenger (620 Euros). If 2008 was the purple year for Louis Vuitton, 2009 is definitely red. Along with the new Suhali Tanami Red and the Epi Rubis the scarves have also had a red make over. The Logo Mania (4) and Grand Froid (7) scarf added the rubis shade to the family and two new designs were introduced. "Eugenia" is a new design featuring leaves, monogram flowers and LV logo's in autumnal colors the Eugenia collection features the Stole (3) retailing at £505 and Silk Square (2) retailing at £205. The second collection is "Flocon", inspired by traditional Scandinavian patterns it features combination of snowflakes, stars, miniature Eiffel towers, LV logos and Monogram Flowers. The Flocon collection is made up of the Scarf (1) £110, Silk Square (5) £185 also in blue and the Maille Flocon scarf (6) a folksy knitted version retailing at £385. To complete the Maille Flocon set a knitted hat (£145) and gloves (£245) are available

This fall we'll all be hearing the call of the wild when animal prints make a big impact on our wardrobes. Ideally animal prints should come with a pedigree to avoid that cheap and tacky look and some of the best in business at animal prints have got to be without a doubt Roberto Cavalli and Dolce and Gabbana. Here are some of my top picks from Net-a-porter.com new releases. Roberto Cavalli Panther bracelet - £475 (top left) of course the classic Cartier Panther bracelet is also a winner. Roberto Cavalli Cashmere-blend sweater -£770 (bottom left) Roberto Cavalli Asymmetric silk maxi kaftan- £810 (centre) currently sold out but too beautiful not to show you add to your wish list to be notified when more arrives. Christian Louboutin Miss Clichy 140 boots - £895 (top right) this boot is a firm favourite of Victoria Beckham, now in leopard, selling quickly so don't hang around. Yves Saint Laurent Muse Two bag - £1555 the hottest leopard bag around right now
