The next Metier D’Arts collection for Chanel will be unveiled in Shanghai.

I am really excited to see this collection as each one heavily features the inspiration from it's location rather than an unrelated theme like the season collections.

The Paris-Moscou collection was absolutely stunning so the question to be asked is can they out do that one?

You don't have to wait long to see Chanel Metier D’Arts Paris-Shanghai will debut at the Penisula Hotel on the 3rd Dec 2009

Back in September news broke of the next collaboration for H&M coming from Sonia Rykiel, the first wave of items which is lingerie and accessories will launch on Dec 5th.


Ad's have started to appear in magazines and on Dec 1st H&M will host a preview show in Paris to debut the collection, following the trend of online fashion shows you can see the show live on H&M

The collection will comprise of 70 items with a very feminine feel, included in the collection is smaller range dubbed "Hollywood Homewear".
"Hollywood Homewear" will include velour pyjamas and robes or soft pink or black chiffon items for that glamourous golden era feel. Matching hair accessories and slippers complete the look.
I have high hopes of this collection and will be dropping into the nearest store on the 5th to pick up some of these items for myself.

Model Daul Kim was found hanged in her Paris apartment on the morning of November 20th

On her blog I Like To Fork Myself she often begins posts with Say Hi to.. the final entry was Say Hi to Forever were she posted a video for the song I Go Deep by Jim Rivers and commented "best track forever"

Although suicide is not yet confirmed the Times reports that friends say she was in a fragile state and suffered with the pressures of her career.

Daul Kim's careeer spanned the globe she was often a feature on the catwalks of Paris, Milan and New York and has worked for designers such as Alexander McQueen, Vivienne Westwood and Karl Lagerfeld.

Time fly's, it sees like only weeks ago when Gucci's UNICEF Tattoo collection was released and now the new collection is available. This year's UNICEF products marks the 5th year of the union and are a collaboration with author and illustrator Micheal Roberts.

Snowman in Africa is the second book by Micheal Roberts, comissioned by Gucci and sold exclusively in Gucci stores and online. The book retails at £18 and 100% of the sales will be donated to UNICEF.  Along with the book there is a range of products and a gift card that have been produced with 25% of their sales to be donated.

Racked that this great post on the Manhattan Louis Vuitton Christmas window, unfortunately most of the windows are still covered while they finish work on them but what you can see so far I like!.

This year they have gone with a travel theme rather than a traditional winter/holiday related one so it may have been more suited for summer. On the other hand isn't on these cold, cold winter days we all start longing for time in the sun?

Sad news for the British Fashion scene today as the news broke of Luella's demise.

Club 21, the brand's global licensee, announced it had "taken the decision not to invest further in its relationship with Luella Bartley Limited". Leading to Luella Bartley announcing that Luella the label would cease to trade.


Luella won the British Fashion Council's Designer of the Year award in 2008 after being nominated for the previous two years, the label has shown in New York, Milan and London fashion weeks and has had success in collaborations with Target and Mulberry.


Despite the sad news Luella last night unveiled a Christmas window that she had designed for Liberty's


It is an unfortunate end to a career that has and continued to show a lot of promise.

I don't have Iphone or a Mac but the reasons to get one get stronger day by day, the latest temptation is the new range of Mulberry products made especially for Apple products.
The launch party at the Mulberry Bond Street store was a star studded event where guests dined on fab winter comfort food of potato skins and mini hot dogs while sipping Mulberry Apple Cocktails (sounds delicious!).  And of course for a party held on Guy Fawkes night what else could a goody bag hold but sparklers and toffee apples.
