Two trends you'll find everywhere this Spring Summer are Mac's and Lace.

So why not combine the two?

Erdem sent a number a beautiful lace pieces in various hues down the runway one of the prettiest being their own version of the gorgeously girly white lace mac (left), although not available at the moment Erdem is available to purchase at Net-a-porter.com, matchesfashion.com, www.brownsfashion.com and Erdem at mytheresa.com
If you do happen to drop by any of the stockists be sure to also check Erdems pretty floral pieces for SS 10

Alternatively, check out the high street version from New Look (right), although a lace print rather than actual lace the mac meets the seasons needs and comes in at a rather reasonable £50.

Earlier this month I showed you the Mulberry Alexa bag, now I'd like to introduce you to the Mulberry Drew family.

Let's get started with the beauty above, the Drew tote pictured is in lovely soft suede with Crocodile print in Butter, it features the new signature Mulberry Tree cut out hardwear and has a clasp that allows you to alter the shape and capacity of the bag at your whim.
The Drew Tote is also available in Buffalo leather in Blueberry, Black and Brown.

Next up is the Drew Clipper.

Clipper is a sophisticated carryall style bag once again featuring the cut out hardwear, it has one large zipped compartments which ends clipped to the sides with poppers. The addition of the poppers means you can release them and make the opening even wider for when you really need rummage.
The Drew Clipper is available in the Buffalo leather in Brown (shown above), Black and Blueberry.

Moving on to the smaller members of the family lets take a look at the Drew Messenger.

The Drew Messenger features an equestrian inspired leather and chain strap with a 63cm drop for those that are interested. Along with the main compartment the messenger also has a front pocket.
The messenger is available in textured calf leather in Blueberry (shown above) and the Crocodile print suede in Butter shown on the Tote.

One detail I haven't mentioned yet which you may have noticed on the bags is the little leather fob, tucked inside the fob is a sweet little horseshoe intended to bring the wearer luck, what a cute detail!

Last bag in the family is the cute Drew Mini Bag.
The mini bag features the chain detail of the messenger, it's slim features make it a great bag for days when you don't need to carry as much.
The Drew mini bag is available in textured calf in Black, Blueberry and Brown, such is it's appeal that the black is already sold out online but don't worry there'll be more.

The Mulberry Drew collection can be purchased in Mulberry boutiques or online at Mulberry.com

In the last few seasons Oasis have done a number of great collaborations with the London College of Fashion and the latest from undergraduate Rosalind Keep could just about be my favourite.

The eight jersey pieces all feature Trompe L'oeil illustrations in neutral colours and the best part is they all retail for only £35-40.

All pieces are available in stores or online were they ship worldwide.

Update (March 4th) Check out Oasis now where you'll find some of the Rosalind Keep pieces on sale!

Marks and Spencers paved the way with charging for carrier bags back in 2008 and since many retailers have jumped on the bandwagon. As well as being both a cost cutting and eco friendly measure it helped resurrect the reusable shopping bag for all. Reusable or canvas tote's are now seen everywhere and come in a such a wide range for styles from your favourite store to your favourite designer there is a style for everyone.

Let's have a little run down of some of the designer pieces should we.........

The Queen of reusable bags crown has to go to the Hermes Silky Pop. The silky pop bag folds down into a CD sized leather case for easy storage and when you need it just unzip and away you go. At £690 even I'll admit that's it was too much money to be sticking your groceries in it but it would be a handy holiday bag.

For a canvas bag that's just a little cheaper and is more of a wear all the time bag rather than a pull out when needed, be sure to check out the Lanvin totes.

Lanvin's Happy Birthday and Love tote totes both retail at £475.
The canvas totes are fully lined and have grosgrain trimmings and handles to match their colour schemes.

Still toting a designer label but with a much friendlier price tag is the Yves Saint Laurent Safety Pin tote.

The YSL totes retail for £135 and have the added benefit of being unisex.

In the £50-£80 price range your options really come alive.
Anya Hindmarch the designer who brought us the crazy that was I'm not a Plastic Bag has a whole wealth of canvas totes on offer.
There's one for your wine, it's divided into 6 internal spaces and has a reinforced bottom, retailing at £65

There's the Shopping Tote, £65

The Market Tote, £70

A beach tote complete with bikini design, £70

And even a Boat Tote, £65. Although I expect your not actually going to be able to fit a boat in that one

There are also a few new additions to the canvas bag scene.
Liberty of London has collaborated with 10 Corso Como in Milan to produce a limited edition range of items.

The Tote above retail for £65 and is also available in white.

The men's bag retails for £185, available in white (shown) or black

The large shopper with additional purse for £260

Liberty's full range of limited items is availble on their website.Shop now at Liberty.co.uk
