Launching tomorrow is a very special collection for Jimmy Choo designed in collaboration with the artist Rob Pruitt. Featuring a lot of the artist's signature details the pieces are most definitely eye catching. For the purpose of this blog post I've focused on the shoes (since I'm a shoe addict) and I've picked out my favourite pairs of the collection so lets take a closer look at them.

First up is Anouk a Jimmy Choo signature heel this time featuring a degrade mirror leather upper overlaid with french lace and finished with a zebra print heel, if that's not enough detail on one shoes it also has a degrade washed sole and a Panda print lining. The use of the Panda is best explained by the artist himself ‘The panda is a recurring image seen throughout the body of my artwork. It’s a symbol that reminds us both to tread lightly and to appreciate the adorable. They represent the harmony of yin and yang.'  Anouk retails for £595.

Second up is Diffuse, the upper of the Gladiator inspired shoe is described as Glitter Zebra, glitter is another signature of Pruitt 'I use glitter in my artwork in hopes that the viewer will experience the same magnetism toward my artwork that birds and bees experience toward flowers.’...well it always works for me.  Diffuse features a tall 1200mm (4.7 inches) heel and retails for £695
For something a little flatter I went for Wheel, a slipper style flat shoe in bright leopard print pony hair and the panda's we saw on the lining of the previous shoes takes centre stage on these. The panda's are actually dressed as little Angels and Devils and each gets it's own shoe here so instead of having them sitting on your shoulder they are dressing up you tootsies.  The Wheel slippers retail for £495.

As I said above I've only focused on the shoes here but the collection also features a number of bags and some small goods, you can find the whole collection here.  You can place your orders for any of the pieces of the Jimmy Choo Rob Pruitt collection right now at
