In the previous weeks I've shown my favourite bags from New York, London and Milan now it's time for the final installment in the series; Paris.

I'm not sure if it's my imagination or not but it seemed like there were far fewer bags on display in the Paris shows than in any of the other countries however this still give me plenty to choose from so lets take a look at My Top 5 from Paris.

Where other countries were dominated with ladylike shapes, furs, suede and exotic skins Paris seemed to favour a more utilitarian style.  Balenciaga now headed by Alexander Wang has to be the first port of call when discussing Utilitarian Chic since the combination creates the perfect powerhouse coupling, the beautiful smooth white leather bag above is a shining example of the elegant Utility you can expect from Balenciaga.
Chanel travelled a more rugged path for it's bags using patined hardware and chains and textured aged leather sometimes the better choice over smooth leather if you don't like to baby your bags, of all the bags from the Chanel show my favourite is the double bag shown below.
Exotic skins where not completely absent as you can see in the bag below from Chloe; a very simple easy to wear bag in the colour of the year.
Saint Laurent ditched the Yves and also ditched the bags it appears since Fall Winter show featured one bag only. The collection had a very grunge edge and if you took a look at the collection as a whole you may be surprised at the choice of the one bag that made it down the catwalk since it bears no relation to the rest of the pieces, however it is a pretty bag and despite it's small clutch size it's boxy almost luggage like shape means it's actually going to fit quite a bit on an evening out.
The final bag is a collaboration between Dior and the Andy Warhol Foundation, for the Dior show hand drawn shoe's adorn a number of Lady Dior bags and clutches as well as clothing.  I have chosen the large White Lady Dior with what appears to be a gold leaf pump as my favourite from the collection although there are quite a few beauties to choose from, you can see all the bags from the show on the I'll Take Facebook page
So that finishes up my Top 5 bags from each on the Fashion Weeks, which has been your favourite?
