Following yesterday's Top 5 Bags from London Fashion Week today's post is all about the footwear. Unfortunately some of the shoes and boots that made the cut won't actually go into production but we may find similar styles in some of the well known shoe designers collections since they tend to lend a hand with the shoes for the shows. For example lets take a look at the Mary Katrantzou shoes.
If you've spotted that glimpse of signature red sole you'll already know that the shoes worn at the Mary Katrantzou show were designed in collaboration with Christian Louboutin, I tend to think suede for Fall Winter is a bad idea but the designers disagree and continue to churn out beautiful strength of will testing pieces like the Mary Jane Shoe-Boot Bi-colour suede treasure above.
Mark Fast famous for his body con knit wear sent models down the runway in an over the knee stocking creation, I can't quite tell if these are a simple shoe with a separate fishnet stocking or an all in one loose knit shoe/boot/stocking, I kind of hope it's the latter.
My final choice features Leopard print, tasssels, rivets and spiked studs, on paper it all sounds like a little too much for a little shoe but as shown in the Burberry show it works, however I think my absolute favourite feature on the Burberry shoes is the low heel in a tapered wedge. Unfortunately the ability to pre-order from the show does not extend to shoes so I can't tell you the price of these cuties.
So that rounds up my choice's for London do you have a favourite amongst them? Don't forget to drop by next week to see what I pick from the Milan shows.

Roksanda Ilinic also went with an ankle boot, I'd definitely say this is the shoe shape of LFW FW'13, but to add a little pizazz the boots feature alternating stripes of suede and metallic materials, all of the boots in the Ilinic show where the exact same design only in a variety of colours.
Marios Schwab went with the Gladiator look that is reminiscent of the boots from the Prabal Gurung collection only for these boots there is a flat simple ballerina shape to the shoe, models wore black and snakeskin versions of the same boots, Mark Fast famous for his body con knit wear sent models down the runway in an over the knee stocking creation, I can't quite tell if these are a simple shoe with a separate fishnet stocking or an all in one loose knit shoe/boot/stocking, I kind of hope it's the latter.
